I would recommend you start walking everyday and try to run at least a little bit but do not over exert yourself. For food don't eat anything other than grilled, baked, or roasted chicken and fish. And make sure it is white meat chicken because it is healthier. Don't drink sodas or eat snack foods like pies, cakes and chips. Instead drink water. If you have a sweet tooth grab grapes or an apple, kae sure you eat plenty of vegetables and fruit they will help you loose weight dramatically. If you have to eat fast food try to go to SubWay, but at subway there are only 6 six inch subs that have less than 6 grams of fat, you also have to eat wheat bread and no condiments (like mayonaise and cheese) but you can have mustard and vinegar. I have to eat this way for my dance class and It keeps me in great shape, I have lots of healthy food brands and choices if you want to g-mail me about them. Good luck and I hope you are succesful, once you learn how to eat right and exercise it will be soooo much easier!

If you like peanut butter there is a brand called Naturally More, it has a yellow top and should be sold in most grocery stores.
For sandwich bread you always want something that is 100%Whole Wheat and Whole Grain, Sara Lee makes a good heart healthy 100%Whole Wheat and Whole Grain bread it green and red on the wrapper. Oscar Mayer has smoked turkey for sandwich that is reallt good and it is 98% fat free. For cereal you always want to eat something healthy like All Bran yougurt Bites, Rasin Bran, Cherrios, Crispix, Kix, Honey Bunches of Oats etc. not the really sugary fruity pebbles. I use 1% lowfat milk but whole milk is fine if thats what you like. If you feel like eating chips Lays offers lots of different types of chips that are made with Olestra they only have 75 calories per serving. If you dont feel like drinking water, lipton has good diet green and white teas that you can drink. Im can just go on but the important thing is that you can to change your eating habits and pair that with exercise, if you do these things you should see tremendous results! Remeber baked,grilled and roasted meats, small steaks are good but not for every night. Chicken and Fish are definantly the best. Planter has peanuts called Nut-trition and it is inspired by the South Beach diet, i eat these mixed nuts all the time, so they are good for a snack if you like almonds, cashews, and macadamians.
